Journey to the Center of the Earth

Filmde Prof. Lindenbrook, öğrencisi ve güzel bir kadın, dünyanın merkezine gidebilmek için tehlikeli bir yolculuğu göze alırlar. Yolda, kayıp kent Atlantis’i bulurlar. Ünlü Fransız romancı Jules Verne’in aynı adlı romanından beyaz perdeye uyarlanan film daha sonra 1977 yılında‘‘Where Time Began’’ adıyla yeniden çekildi. 2008 yılında da Brendan Fraser'lı "Journey to the Center of the Earth" ve 2012'de de Dwayne Johnson'lı "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" çekilmiştir.
